Together with NEC and SMS, Smartsign has been nominated for the best digital signage solution in the industry. The nomination is for a Kärcher window cleaner campaign in Clas Ohlsson’s flagship store in the Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm.
Today in London the trade organization Daily DOOH (Digital Out Of Home) will announce the winners of a range of categories. The Kärcher campaign is nominated for best mall/supermarket deployment.

At the Clas Ohlson store there is a stand from SMS (Smart Media Solution) with a screen from NEC. Everything is controlled by the software from Smartsign. In the sign holder there is a window cleaner from Kärcher and a pane of glass where you can try the window cleaner. Two sensors have been integrated to the screen. One sensor reacts when a customer approaches the stand and the message then changes to a more adapted information. The other sensor reacts when someone lifts the window cleaner. The screen then shows an instruction of how you can test the window cleaner on the pane of glass. In the sign holder there is also a range of boxes with the current products.
– With Smartsign’s software integrated to the screen it interacts with the client and this is a fun and innovative solution that we believe will make more people to buy the products, says Daniel Pettersson.
